Because we value the health and safety of your children, please adhere to the following recommendations concerning contagious/infectious illnesses:

If your child has a temperature of 100.0 or greater, do not send him/her to school. Your child must be fever free for 24 hours, without a fever reducer (Motrin, Tylenol) before returning.

If your child has diarrhea or is vomiting, do not send him/her to school. Your child must be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning.

Remember to write a note so the absence will be excused.

The best way to stay healthy is to encourage your child to wash his/her hands, especially after using the restroom and before eating. Encourage your child to only put food and drinks in his/her mouth. No fingers, toys, pencils, etc. Cover your cough. Ask your physician if a flu shot is appropriate for you and your child.
